We spent a week there in late May 2010. I can only echo all the other comments. Great accommodations, great hosts, central and very safe. We plan to go back or might consider purchasing a condo.

Our stay at Xalteva Condominiums was SUPERB!!! Royalty!!!! First Class!!!! Neal and his staff were wonderfully amazing. There isn't anything negative that we may say but only great things. The condos were very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The staff was always very pleasant and eager to help. Neal is very knowledgeable and constantly willing to answer all the questions we had for him. As he would say, "Pick my brain." He goes out of his way to help in every way possible making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend Xalteva Condominiums for anyone looking to be treated like royalty.

Yesterday I finally visited your condo, I have recommended it to folks that wanted long term stays but never actually been there myself until yesterday. Very nice place and tastefully done.

My friends and I had a magical new year's stay at Condos Xalteva and we can't stop raving about it to others. We appreciated the easy walk to the center of Granada, and we found the condos to be well equipped and comfortably appointed with authentic Nicaraguan furnishings and every convenience. The pool and bar is a restful haven and a friendly gathering place - each day began and ended poolside with Nicaraguan coffee, fresh fruit and biscuits and self-service local beer or rum, respectively. Neil and the friendly staff are like a family, and they took care of our every need. We were lucky to visit when owners Jay and Kathy Snyder were in residence, making the hospitality almost overwhelming. We felt safe and warmly welcomed throughout Granada. There is so much to see and do, and the guided tours and restaurants are excellent and so affordable. We look forward to returning and to introducing others to this wonderful place!

For comfort and value Condos / Hotel Xalteva is difficult to beat. Neil and his staff provide top-notch service: knowledgeable, attentive, thorough and friendly. The hotel is superbly maintained and to top that they have something difficult to find in Nicaragua - HOT water! They are well known throughout Granada and have an impeccable reputation. The hotel location makes for a short walk to the town plaza and yet is away from the hustle and bustle. We are already planning our next visit!
